We consider ourselves lucky. We recently spoke with wonderful teammates from Breakout Games; Break out in Maryland visited EscapeTime. We quickly learned that the main difference between a franchise, such as Breakout Games and EscapeTime is the ability for Breakout Games to provide “escape room theme” consistency across their entire franchise. On the other hand, EscapeTime is able to make changes to escape room clues, puzzles, decor at any time to optimize the quality of the Escape Room Experience. Oftentimes, franchises are limited and asked to use specific room instructions for the set-up and puzzle offerings….. We say, TRY US BOTH! See which structure challenges you the most (the DYI route or standardized route).
This is only the beginning! Look, simply said, our escape games are made for everyone and anyone; including allowing those with certain disabilities or limitations (such as wheelchairs or being claustrophobic) still play and enjoy all of the puzzles. We do this by providing personal accommodations where we can. We are often asked if any of our rooms are scary. The answer is….Maybe, but not intentionally, we are not a haunted house. Your goal is to solve unique clues and puzzles together, while immersed into the scenario (i.e. on a submarine or inside of a hotel room setting). WE NEVER OFFICIALLY LOCK THE DOORS. We specialize in large groups. We have host up to 10-100 escape room participants in one hour across our puzzle rooms.
